Abstract
본 발명은 티브이 시스템의 화면비 변환 장치에 관한 것으로, 일반적인 4:3 티브이 시스템에서는 16:9티브이 신호를 처리하지 못하게 회로가 구성되어 있으므로 4:3티브이 시스템을 가진 사용자는 16:9티브이 방송을 시청하지 못하고 불편함이 있었다. 이러한 불편함을 개선하기 위하여 본 발명은 전송단에서 16:9인지 4:3인지를 판별하는 신호를 보내줌으로써 화면비 변화 모드를 판별하면 16:9 티이브 신호를 수직 변환하여 4:3티브이 신호로 변환하므로써 4:3티브이 시스템에서 16:9티브이 방송을 시청하도록 창안한 것으로, 본 발명은 주사 방식 및 전송 신호를 판별하여 수직 방향으로 변환을 수행하므로써 화면비를 변환시킬 수 있어 기존의 4:3티브이 시스템에서도 16:9티브이 방송을 시청할 수 있다.The present invention relates to an aspect ratio conversion apparatus of a TV system.
