Abstract
기존의 IR 장치와 시리얼포를 구현한 시스템은 하나의 시스템 내부에 IR 장치와 시리얼포트를 같이 구현할 경우 별개로 분리가 불가능하고 또는 이동이 불가능하다. 또한 시스템전원을 사용하므로 인하여 주 시스템에 부담을 주는 요소가 발생되고 있다. 이를 해결하고자 본 발명은 시리얼통신과 IR 통신을 할 수 있도록 모듈로 제작된 모듈형시리얼통신장치를 제공해 주므로써 사용자가 시리얼포트와 IR포트를 선택적으로 사용할 수 있게 하고, 또한 모듈에 별도의 전원을 사용하게 하여 전력소모가 많은 휴대형시스템에 사용할 경우 소모전력을 분리해 주도록 하는데 있다.

Claims (2)
- 시리얼통신과 IR통신을 할 수 있도록 모듈로 제작된 별도의 모듈형시리얼통신장치를 구성함을 특징으로 하는 모듈형 시리얼 통신장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 모듈형시리얼통신장치는 시그널데이타를 1비트씩 직렬로 내보내는 시리일인터페이스부와, 시리얼인터페이스부 및 시리얼포트로 나오는 데이타를 송수신하는 송, 수신부와, 송수신데이타를 변조 및 복조하는 변복조부와, 변, 복조된 데이타를 수신하여 이를 IR LED로 전송하는 LED구동수신부와, 시스템을 콘트롤하는 제어부로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 모듈형 시리얼 통신장치.
