Abstract
The present invention relates to a cDNA of Salmobin, a novel thrombin-like proteolytic enzyme isolated from the venom gland of Korean salmosa snake (Agkistrodon halys brevicaudus), and a salmobin having an amino acid sequence translated therefrom. Salmobin's cDNA consists of 780 nucleotides encoding 260 amino acids, and the protein translated therefrom consists of a signal peptide of 24 amino acids and a mature enzyme of 236 amino acids. Salmonine cDNA of the present invention can be expressed by an expression system established in recombinant E. coli, yeast, baculovirus / insect cells and animal cells. It can be useful for.
