Abstract
본 발명은 전극층과 박막 트랜지스터가 형성되어 있는 제1기판, 전극층, 블랙 매트릭스, 및 칼라 필터가 형성되어 있는 제2기판 및 상기 제1, 2기판 사이에 고분자액정복합체가 주입되어 있는 고분자 분산형 액정표시 장치에 있어서, 상기 1기판과 상기 제2기판의 외부 표면에 자외선 차폐 부재가 구비되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 고분자 분산형 액정표시장치 및 그 제조방법을 제공한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 기판상에 자외선 차폐 부재를 설치하여 고분자액정복합체의 열화가 방지됨으로써, 시간 경과에 따른 전압유지율의 저하가 감소되므로 신뢰성이 우수한 액정표시장치를 얻을 수 있다.Disclosed is a liquid crystal display device comprising a first substrate on which an electrode layer and a thin film transistor are formed, a second substrate on which an electrode layer, a black matrix and a color filter are formed, and a polymer dispersed liquid crystal A liquid crystal display device and a method of manufacturing the same are provided, wherein an ultraviolet shielding member is provided on the outer surfaces of the first substrate and the second substrate. According to the present invention, since the deterioration of the polymer liquid crystal composite is prevented by providing the ultraviolet shielding member on the substrate, the decrease in the voltage holding ratio with time is reduced, so that the liquid crystal display device with excellent reliability can be obtained.
