Abstract

임의의 격자에 속한 8개 격자점의 데이터를 한번의 사이클로 획득할 수 있게 하는 삼차원 데이터 저장 방법이 개시된다.
본 발명의 3차원 데이터 저장 방법은 임의의 격자에 속한 격자점들의 데이터를 병렬로 액세스할 수 있게 하는 삼차원 데이터 저장방법에 있어서, 상기 삼차원 데이터의각 격자점에 인덱스 번호를 부여하되, 이웃하는 두개의 격자자 공유하는 면에 소속된 격자점들이 공통된 인덱스 번호를 가지도록 하는 인덱스 번호 부여 과정; 상기 삼차원 데이터를 인덱스 번호에 따라 분류하는 분류 과정; 및 분류된 삼차원 데이터를 각각의 메모리 공간에 저장하는 저장 과정을 포함함을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따른 삼차원 데이터의 저장 방법은 한 사이클의 메모리 액세스 동작에 의해 임의의 격자에 속한 격자점들의 데이터를 획득할 수 있으므로 3차원 데이터를 처리하는 시스템의 연산 속도를 증진시키게 되는 효과를 가진다.

제1도는 삼차원 데이터의 구성을 설명하기 위한 도면이다, 제2도는 본 발명에 따른 삼차원 데이터 저장 방법에 있어서 인덱스 번호 부여 과정의 결과를 보이는 도면이다.

Claims (2)

  1. 임의의 격자에 속한 격자점들의 데이터를 병렬로 액세스 할 수 있게 하는 삼차원 데이터 저장 방법에 있어서, 상기 삼차원 데이터의 각 격자점에 인덱스 번호를 부여하되, 이웃하는 두개의 격자가 공유하는 면에 소속된 격자점들이 공통된 인덱스 번호를 가지도록 하는 인덱스 번호 부여 과정; 상기 삼차원 데이터를 인덱스 번호에 따라 분류하는 분류 과정; 및 분류된 삼차원 데이터를 각각의 메모리 공간에 저장하는 저장 과정을 포함하는 삼차원 데이터 저장 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 저장 과정은 삼차원 좌표계를 구성하는 좌표축의 순서에 따라 저장함을 특징으로 하는 삼차원 데이터 저장 방법.
