Abstract
본 발명은 전송 채널상에서 발생되는 고스트신호로 인해 열화된 수신신호를 빠른 속도로 적응시켜 열화를 보상하는 고속 적응 채널 등화기에 관한 것으로. 본 발명은 종래의 채널 등화기는 스텝 사이즈 및 반복(Iteration)양이 일정하게 고정되어 있어서 채널 환경이 나쁠때나 고스트가 많이 생길 경우 적응속도가 늦은 단점이 있었던 점을 감안하여 입력신호와 에러신호에 의해 각 필드의 필드 싱크 라인의 SNR을 구하는 SNR계산부와, SNR계산부의 출력과 정해진 기준값과 비교하여 비교결과에 따라 업/다운 카운팅을 행하는 비교 및 카운팅부와, 비교 및 카운팅부의 출력에 따라 최적의 계수값으로 접근시키기 위한 최적의 반복횟수를 갖는 경로를 선택하는 반복 제어부와, 반복 제어부의 제어에 따라 선택된 반복횟수를 갖는 경로에 맞는 스텝 사이즈를 출력하는 스텝 사이즈 룩-업 테이블을 구비하여 조건에 따라 계수 갱신 스텝 사이즈를 변화시켜 고속으로 수렴할 수 있도록 함으로써 채널 환경이 좋지 않은 지역에서도 빠른 속도로 적응해 열화된 신호를 보상할 수 있도록 한 것이다. 그리고 본 발명은 빌딩이 많이 모여있는 대도시 및 항공기가 많이 지나가는 지역 등 채널환경이 좋지 않은 지역에 적용가능하다.The present invention relates to a fast adaptive channel equalizer that compensates for degradation by rapidly adapting a received signal degraded by a ghost signal generated on a transmission channel.
