Abstract

국내의 이동통신회사들이 삐삐의 문자 메시지 수신이 가능한 문자호출서비스를 실시하고 있고, 통신기기회상에서 문자표시가 가능한 한글무선호출기가 개발되고 있지만, 막상 사용자가 전화기를 통해 한글메세지르 입력할 수 있는 사용자 인터페이스(User Interface)는 미흡한 실정이다. 현재 이동통신회사에서 제공하는 정형문방식의 단점을 해결하고, 누수나 쉽게 원하는 한글 메세지를 전화기의 숫자판을 통해 입력할 수 있는 방법이 필요하다. 본 발명은 한글을 음소별로 전화기의 숫자판위에 그리듯이 숫자버튼을 차례대로 누름으로써 한글을 입력하는 방법에 대한 것이다. 이러한 입력 방법은 숫자 리스트의 표준화(normallization), 글자의 겉보기 모양(눌려진 숫자버튼들이 숫자판 matrix에서 이루는 모양)에의한 인식 및 숫자의 입력 순서에 의한 구별 인식의 3단계 과정으로서 구현된다. 특히 숫자의 입력 순서에 의한 구별 인식에서는 '특징적인 연결부위(characteristic connection)'을 이용한 인식으로 입력 방법에서의 융통성을 크게 높이고, 알고리즘을 간소화하였다. 이 한글 입력 방법은 문자호출서비스 분야와 한글 입력을 필요로 하는 ARS 서비스 분야에 응용할 수 있다.Domestic mobile telecommunication companies are implementing text call service to receive text messages of Pippi, and Hangul wireless pagers that can display text messages on communication devices are being developed, but users can input Korean messages through the phone.
