Abstract
본 발명은 마찰식 브레이크 장치의 브레이크패드가 마모되어 소정깊이에 이르게 되면, 이를 감지하여 운전자에게 경보핼 줄 수 있는 동시에 반영구적으로 사용할수 있는 브레이크패드 마모 경고장치를 제공하기 위하여 브레이크 패드 마모 경보장치에 있어서, 디스크 로터(40)의 외주에 링 모양의 근접판(42)을 설치하고, 그 근접판(42)에 근접되는 근접스위치(44)를 브레이크 패드(45)가 설치되어 있는 캘리퍼 하우징(46)에 설치하되 브레이크 패드(45)의 마모제한깊이(D6)을 기준으로 그 마모제한 깊이(D6) 이상으로 브레이크 패드(45)가 마모되었을 때 근접스위치(44)와 근접판(42)이 이루는 근접거리(D8)이 근접스위치(44)를 작동시킬 수 있는 거리가 되도록 설치하며, 상기 근접스위치(44)에 경보장치(48)를 접속하여 구성한 것이다.The present invention provides a brake pad wear warning device to provide a brake pad wear warning device which can be used semi-permanently while detecting and alerting the driver when the brake pad of the friction brake device reaches a predetermined depth.
