Abstract

Disclosed are an exhaust gas purifying method using a plasma cyclone apparatus which simultaneously removes not only fine dust contained in exhaust gas discharged during combustion in an incinerator and an industrial boiler, but also harmful gases, and an apparatus for performing the same. The exhaust gas is introduced into the cyclone apparatus to discharge the corona current to remove dust by the coulomb force and the electric flow in the centrifugal force, and the exhaust gas is transformed into a plasma form at high voltage and high temperature. The plasma is transformed into active radicals at high voltage and low temperature, and the radicals are subjected to a chain discharge chemical reaction to transform and remove gaseous contaminants into particulates.
