자동차에 탑승하고 있는 탑승객의 상태에 따라 각 장착되어 있는 에어백의 전개 상태를 제어하여 불필요에 에어백의 전개 동작에 따른 비용 낭비와 인명 피해를 최소화할 수 있도록 하는 자동차의 에어백 시스템 제어 장치를 제공하기 위하여, 운전석과 탑승석에 장착되어, 인가되는 제어 신호의 상태에 따라 전개 상태가 변화하는 운전석 및 탑승석 에어백과; 자동차의 충돌시 발생하는 충격 정도에 따라 출력되는 전기 신호의 상태를 변화시켜 충돌 파형의 형태를 변화시키는 충돌 감지 수단과; 상기 충돌 감지 수단에서 출력되는 신호를 판독하여, 충돌 사고 발생시 충돌 파형의 분석하고 충돌 파형의 상태가 설정조건을 만족할 경우 운전석과 탑승석에 장착되어 있는 상기 에어백을 작동시키기 위한 제어 신호를 출력하는 에어백 제어 수단과; 자동차의 탑승석에 내장되어 탑승석에 가해지는 압력의 크기에 따라 출력되는 전기 신호가 변화하는 다수개의 압력 감지 수단과; 상기 다수개의 압력 감지 수단에서 출력되는 신호를 조합하여, 다수개의 압력 감지 수단의 출력 신호가 설정값 이상의 신호를 모두 출력할 경우에만 출력 상태가 변화하는 신호 조합 수단과; 상기 신호 조합 수단에서 출력되는 신호의 상태에 따라 동작 상태가 변화하여, 엔진 제어 수단에서 출력되어 탑승석 에어백으로 전달되는 구동 전류를 차단할 수 있도록 하고 스위칭 수단을 포함하여 이루어져 있다.To provide a vehicle airbag system control device that can control the deployment state of each installed airbag according to the state of the passengers in the vehicle, thereby minimizing unnecessary waste and human injury caused by the airbag deployment operation.
