본 발명은 대화형 케이블 텔레비젼(I-CATV)의 단말장치(STU)를 오류발생 여부를 검사하기 위한 단말기(STU)의 검사장치에 관한 것으로, 이를 해결하기 위하여 네트워트 시스템과 통신할 수 있는 단말장치(STU)의 송, 수신 처리부와 상기 검사장치의 송, 수신 처리부간에 상호 연결하고서 상기 단말장치(STU)의 시스템 구동용 데이터의 오류를 검사하는 장치에 있어서, 상기 단말장치(STU)에 저장되어 있는 시스템 구동용 데이터의 오류 발생을 검사하기 위하여 상기 단말장치(STU)의 시스템 구동용 데이터와 동일한 검사용 데이터를 저장하고 있는 체크정보 메모리(102)와, 검사신호 인가시 상기 단말장치(STU)로부터 갱신되어 수신되는 시스템 구동용 데이터를 디코딩하는 메세지 디코더(104)와, 메세지 디코더(104)에 의해서 디코딩된 상기 시스템 구동용 데이터와 상기 체크정보 메모리(102)로부터 갱신되는 검사용 데이터에 의거하여 상기 시스템 구동용 데이터에 대한 오류 발생 여부를 판정함과 아울러 이 판성 결과를 근거로 하여 시스템의 전반적인 동작을 단속하는 시스템 제어부(108)와, 체크정보 메모리(102)로부터 갱신되는 검사용 데이터를 인코딩하는 메세지 인코더(106)와, 시스템 제어부(108)에 의해서 오류가 발생된 것으로 판정되면, 상기 오류가 발생된 시스템 구동용 데이터를 검사용 데이터로 교체시키기 위하여 상기 검사용 데이터를 단말장치(STU)로 전송하는 출력수단을 구비함으로써 대화형 케이블 텔레이젼(I-CATV)의 단말장치(STU)에 오류가 발생되면, 오류가 발생된 데이터를 원래의 데이터로 복원시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.The present invention relates to an inspection apparatus of a terminal (STU) for checking whether an error occurs in the terminal unit (STU) of an interactive cable television (I-CATV), and a terminal apparatus capable of communicating with a network system to solve this problem.
