Abstract

본 발명은 광자기디스크장치에 관한 것으로, 특히 외주(MO)영역에서 재생중 내주(PIT)영역으로 이동되었을때, 이를 판단하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 제어부의 소정 메모리에 기준이 되는 영역판단레벨 값을 기저장하여 정상재생도중 시스템에러등과 같은 상황에 의해서 픽업이 내주(PIT)영역으로 진입하여 에러를 발생할 경우에 기설정된 영역판단레벨에 따라 외주(MO)영역으로 다시 진입하도록하여 정확성과 서치속도를 높이는 잇점을 제공한다. 또한, 시스템에러로 인한 불필요한 동작의 감소로 휴대용 기기에서의 배터리 소모를 줄일 수 있다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
