Abstract

본 발명은 결합제로서 염소-비함유 수지를 이용하여 고 분산성과 고 분산안정성을 갖도록 한 자성도료를 비자성 지지체상에 도포하여 형성시킨 자성층을 최소한 1층 이상 가지며 자기기록 성능을 유지하면서 내구성과 내스크래치성이 우수하고, 특히 도포층에 염소가 존재하지 않아 환경을 보호할 수 있는 자기기록매체를 제공하기 위한 것으로서, 결합제로서 무게평균분자량이 10,000∼250,000이고 산가가 0.1∼70인 적어도 2종 이상의 폴리우레탄 수지를 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하며, 이러한 특징의 본 발명에 의하면 BET치가 높은 자성분을 분산시키더라도 동일계 수지가 사용되므로 상호간의 우수한 상용성으로 인해 자성분의 분산상태가 기존의 자성도료와 동등 또는 그 이상으로 되고, 이를 비자성지지체에 적용하면 우수한 내스크래치성과 내구성을 가지며 환경을 보호하는 자기기록매체를 제공할 수 있게 된다.

Claims (3)

  1. 비자성지지체 상에 자성도료를 도포하여 적층시킨 자성층을 적어도 1층 이상 갖는 자기기록매체에 있어서, 상기 자성도료가 결합제로서 다음 (a), (b) 중에서 선택되는 폴리우레탄 수지를 자성분의 1차 분산시와 2차 분산시로 나누어 적용한 것이며, 2차 분산시에 첨가되는 폴리우레탄수지는 1차 분산시에 첨가되는 폴리우레탄수지에 비해 무게평균분자량()이 크고 산가는 낮은 것임을 특징으로 하는 자기기록매체;(a) 무게평균 분자량이 10,000∼250,000이며 산가가 0.1∼70인 폴리우레탄 수지, 또는 (b) 하기 식에 따라 구한 무게평균분자량이 10,000∼250,000이며 산가가 0.1∼70인 혼합 폴리우레탄 수지.
    (위 식에서 Vi는 사용된 폴리우레탄 수지의 무게분율,는 사용된 폴리우레탄 수지 각각의 무게평균분자량, n은 2 이사의 정수임)
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 2차 분산시에 첨가되는 폴리우레탄 수지의 무게평균분자량이 1차 분산시 첨가되는 폴리우레탄수지의 무게평균분자량보다 500이상 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 자기기록매체.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 2차분산시 첨가되는 폴리우레탄수지의 산가가 1차 분산시 사용된 폴리우레탄 수지의 산가 보다 0.05이상 낮은 것을 특징으로 하는 자기기록매체.
