Abstract

전혈중 글루코즈 농도를 측정하기 위한 시약 스트립(reagent strip)은 글루코즈 측정시 헤마토크릿의 간섭을 저하시킨다. 생물학적 유액이 스크립과 접촉하는 경우, 이것은 스트립중에 함침된 시약 중에서, 유액중 글루코즈 농도의 척도가 되는 색상 변화를 유발한다. 그러나, 색상 변화는 또한 적혈구 세포 농도(헤마토크릿 : hematocrit)에 의해 영향반음으로써, 글루코즈 측정의 정확도를 떨어뜨린다. 헤마토크릿 효과는 시약에 아크릴산 중합체를 가합에 의해 감소시킨다.

Claims (12)

  1. (a) 비교적 큰 공국이 있는 샘플 면과 비교적 작은 공극이 있는 시험 면이 있는, 샘플이 샘플 면 상에서 수용되어 시험 면으로 통과하도록 조정된 이방성 막 및 (b) (i) 글루코즈와 산소로부터 과산화수소를 생성하는 성분; (ii) 과산화수소와 반응시 자체의 색상을 변화시키는 지시제; 및 (iii) 농도가 약 0.1% 내지 약 4% w/v 범위 이내인 아크릴산 중합체를 포함하는, 막 내에 함침된 시험 시약을 포함하는, 적혈구 세포를 포함하는 전혈 샘플중 글루코즈 농도를 측정하기 위한 시약 스트립.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 막에 대한 열가소성 지지체를 추가로 포함하는 시약 스트립.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 글루코즈와 산소로부터 과산화수소를 생성하는 글루코즈 옥시다제를 포함하는 시약 스트립.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 지시제가 (a)3-디메틸아미노벤조산(DMAB)과 배합된 3-메틸-2-벤조티아졸리논 하이드라존 하이드로클로라이드(MBTH); (b) 3,5-디클로로-2-하이드록시벤젠-설폰산(DCHBS)과 배합된 MBTH 및 (c) 8-아닐리노-1-나프탈렌 설폰산 암모늄(ANS)과 배합된 [3-메틸-2-벤조티아졸리논 하이드라존] N-설포닐 벤젠설포네이트 일나트륨(MBTHSB)으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 조성물과 퍼옥시다제를 포함하는 시약 스트립.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 지시제가 퍼옥시다제 및 MBTHSB-ANS를 포함하는 시약 스트립.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 이크릴산 중합체의 분자량이 약 200,000 내지 약 4,000,000의 범위인 시약 스트립.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 아크릴산 중합체의 분자량이 약 750,000인 시약 스트립.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 샘플을 수용하여 이의 검출가능한 부위를 막의 샘플 면으로 통과시키기 위해, 막의 샘플면에 부착된 다공성 수송 층을 추가로 포함하는 시약 스트립.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 시험 시약이 지시제의 색상에 있어서의 변화를 억제하는 억제제를 추가로 포함하는 시약 스트립.
  10. (a) (i) 비교적 큰 공극이 있는 샘플 면과 비교적 작은 공극이 있는 시험 면을 갖고 (ii) 글루코즈와 반응하여 시험 면이 색상을 변화시킬 수 있으며, 글루코즈 옥시다제, 퍼옥시다제, 산화가능한 염료 또는 염료 커플 및 농도가 약 0.1% 내지 약 4% w/v 범위인 아크릴산 중합체를 포함하는 시험 시약과 함께 함침되어 있는 이방성 막을 제공하는 단계; (b) 혈액을 막의 샘플 면에 적용시키는 단계; 및 (c) 시험 면의 색상 변화를 측정하여 혈중 글루코즈 농도를 측정하는 단계를 포함하는, 적혈구 세포를 포함하는 전혈 샘플중 글루코즈 농도를 측정하는 방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 혈중 글루코즈 농도가 약 50 내지 약 400㎎/dL 범위인 방법.
  12. 제10항에 있어서, 혈중 헤마토크릿(hematocrit) 농도가 약 25% 내지 약 60% 범위인 방법.
