Abstract

본 발명에 따른 제동등장치는 브레이크 페달(도시되지 않음)을 밟으면 브레이크 스위치(SW1)가 접촉되어 차량속도센서(VSS)가 감지한 감속도에 따라 제동등(10)의 밝기를 달리하는 제동등시스템에 있어서, 차량속도센서(VSS)로부터 입력된 속도신호에 의해 차량의 감속도를 검출하는 감속도신호 검출수단과; 소정의 삼각파 신호를 발생하는 삼각파 발생기(23); 상기 감속도 검출수단의 출력과 상기 삼각파 발생기(23)로부터 입력된 삼각파신호를 비교하여 감속도신호에 따라 펄스폭 변조된 펄스를 출력하는 비교기(24); 및 상기 비교기(24)의 출력에 따른 온,오프되어 제동등에 인가되는 전원(B+)의 타이밍을 조절하는 스위칭 수단으로 구성되어 있다. 따라서 감속도에 따라 제동등의 밝기가 다르므로써 뒤따르는 차량의 운전자가 앞차의 제동속도를 인지하여 적절히 대처할 수 있게 한다.

Claims (4)

  1. 브레이크 페달(도시되지 않음)을 밟으면 브레이크 스위치(SW1)가 접촉되어 차량속도센서(VSS)가 감지한 감속도에 따라 제동등(10)의 밝기를 달리하는 제동등시스템에 있어서, 차량속도센서(VSS)로부터 입력된 속도신호에 의해 차량의 감속도를 검출하는 감속도신호 검출수단과; 소정의 삼각파신호를 발생하는 삼각파 발생기(23); 상기 감속도 검출수단의 출력과 상기 삼각파 발생기(23)로부터 입력된 삼각파신호를 비교하여 감속도신호에 따라 펄스폭 변조된 펄스를 출력하는 비교기(24); 및 상기 비교기(24)의 출력에 따라 온,오프되어 제동등에 인가되는 전원(B+)의 타이밍을 조절하는 스위칭 수단으로 구성되는 자동차의 제동등장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 감속도신호 검출수단은 차량의 속도에 따른 전기적인 속도신호를 발생하는 차량속도센서의 속도신호로부터 감속도에 비례하는 감속도신호를 발생하는 감속도센서(21); 상기 감속도센서(21)의 감속도신호를 받아 증폭하는 증폭기(22); 상기 증폭된 감속도신호를 클리핑하는 클리핑회로로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차의 제동등장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 클리핑회로는 증폭기(22)의 출력에 직렬연결된 다이오드(D1)와, 분할저항(R1,R2)으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차의 제동등장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 스위칭수단은 비교기의 출력에 따라 턴-온, 턴-오프되는 트랜지스터로 구현되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차의 제동등장치.
