Abstract
A nonlinear deflection speed modulating circuit for a television receiver is provided, which solves visual obstacle of screen due to unbalance of over shooting and under shooting. The nonlinear deflection speed modulating circuit for a television receiver includes a differential part(15) for differentiating amplified input luminance signal and outputting the same to a nonlinear amplifier(16), the nonlinear amplifier(16) for nonlinearly amplifying a signal output from the differential part(15) and outputting the same to a current amplifier(18) by increasing gain if the signal output from the differential part(15) is small and lowering gain if not, the current amplifier(18) for amplifying current of a signal output from the nonlinear amplifier(16) and outputting the same to a deflection speed coil(19), and the deflection speed coil(19) for compensating deflection beam speed to the output from the current amplifier(18).
