본 발명은 공기조화기의 냉반운전시에 변화하는 실내온도에 따라 실내열교환기의 결빙여부를 판단하여 제상운전을 수행하는 공기조화기의 제상장치 및 그 제어방법에 관한 것으로써, 공기조화기에 있어서, 상기 공기조화기의 냉방운전시에 변화하는 실내온도를 감지하는 실내온도감지수단과, 상기 실내온도감지수단에 의해 감지된 실내온도에 따라 실내열교환기의 결빙여부를 판단하여 제상운전을 제어하는 제어수단과, 상기 제어수단의 제어에 따라 제상운전을 수행하도록 압축기를 구동제어하는 압축기구동수단과, 상기 제어수단이 제어에 따라 제상운전을 수행하도록 실내팬을 구동제어하는 실내팬모터 구동수단으로 이루어진 것으로, 변화하는 실내온도에 따라 실내열교환기의 결빙여부를 판단하여 냉방운전시 실내열교환기의 결빙을 방지하고, 냉방효율을 향상시킬 수 있다는 효과가 있다.The present invention relates to a defrosting apparatus of an air conditioner for performing defrosting operation by determining whether an indoor heat exchanger freezes according to a changing room temperature during cold operation of an air conditioner, and a control method thereof.
