Abstract

The double ignitor can vary the time period between a first ignition and a second ignition in accordance with the engine speed. The double ignitor includes: a signal delayer(140) for delaying and generating an ignition control signal during time constant; a frequency-voltage converter(150) for converting the frequency of the ignition control signal into a voltage signal; an inverse amplifier(160) for inversely-amplifying the voltage signal; a comparator(170) for comparing the ignition control signal and the amplified signal in the inverse amplifier(160) to output the compared result; a pulse generator(180) activated at the falling edge of the output signal as the compared result to generate a pulse of a predetermined time constant; a logic gate(190) for logically operating the generated pulse and the ignition control signal to generate a double ignition driving signal; and an ignition driver(200) controlled by the double ignition driving signal for performing an ignition operation.
