Abstract

본 발명은 내압이 감소되고 고용량화된 니켈아연 2차전지 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 니켈 양극판, 아연 음극판 및 격리판으로 구성되어 있는 구조체를 포함하고 있고, 개구를 갖는 케이스와 상기 케이스의 개구에 설치되어 그 개구를 폐쇄하는 캡을 구비한 니켈아연 2차전지에 있어서, 상기 캡에 0.01 내지 2.5㎏f/㎠의 압력 범위에서 안전한 성능을 갖는 폴리아미드 재질의 안전밸브가 장착된 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈아연 2차전지가 개시되어 있다. 본 발명에 따르면 니켈아연 2차전지의 내압을 크게 낮출 수 있으므로 전지의 밀폐화가 용이하고, 전지내의 감압으로 전해액의 하강 현상을 최대한 억제시킬 수 있어서 전지의 이용률 및 에너지 밀도를 증가시킬 수 있다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
