본 고안은 파우어 세이브(Power Save) 방식을 적용하는 모니터에 있어서 파우어 세이브 모드시 스포트(spot)가 발생하는 것을 제거하기에 적당하도록 한 모니터의 스포트 제거회로에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로 모니터를 사용하다가 일정시간동안 사용하지 않으면 자동적으로 파우어를 세이브하기 위한 파우어 세이브 모드로 전환되는데 이러한 파우어 세이브 모드에는 오프 모드(OFF Mode), 서스펜드 모드(Suspend Mode), 스탠바이 모드(Stand by Mode)가 있다.
여기서, 서스펜드 모드는 모니터를 사용하다가 일정시간 이상 사용하지 않을 경우 자동적으로 편향회로와 히터로의 전원 공급을 중단하고 제어부인 마이컴에만 전원을 공급함으로써 불필요한 전원의 낭비를 방지하도록 하는 모드를 말한다.
종래 파우어 세이브 방식을 적용하는 모니터에 있어서는 파우어 세이브 모드가 되어도 B+의 변화가 없어 제1도에 도시된 바와 같이 음극선관(1)의 캐소우드에서 발생되는 열전자의 양을 제어하는 제어그라드(G1)의 전압이 제거되지 않고 계속 모니터 화면에 인가되므로 모니터에 스포트가 발생하게 되고, 이에 따라 모니터의 음극선관(1)이 손상되기 쉬운 문제가 있다.
본 고안은 이와 같은 종래의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 안출한 것으로 파우어 세이브 모드시 제어그라드에 전원이 인가되지 않게 하므로 모니터에 발생되는 스포트를 제거하여 모니터의 손상을 방지할 수 있는 모니터의 스포트 제거회로를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다.
이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 고안은 파우어 세이브 모드시 마이컴으로 부터 출력되는 파우어 세이브 모드 신호에 의해 스위칭되는 제1스위칭 수단과, 상기 제1스위칭 수단의 스위칭에 따라 스위칭되는 제2스위칭 수단과, 상기 제2스위칭수단의 출력측에 접속되어 파우어 세이브 모드시 제어그리드에 부(-) 전압을 유기시키는 콘덴서를 포함하여 구성함을 특징으로 한다.
이하, 본 고안의 실시예를 첨부된 도면을 참고로 하여 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
제2도는 본 고안의 회로도로 파우어 세이브 모드시 마이컴(10)으로부터 출력되는 파우어 세이브 모드 신호(S1)에 의해 스위칭되는 제1스위칭 수단인 트랜지스터(TR1)와, 상기 트랜지스터(TR1)의 콜렉터에 접속되어 트랜지스터(TR1)의 스위칭에 따라 온, 오프되는 제2스위칭 수단인 트랜지스터(TR2)와, 상기 트랜지스터(TR2)의 에미터와 제어그리드(G1) 사이에 접속된 콘덴서(C1)를 포함하여 구성된 것으로 도면중 미설명 부호 R1은 저항, B+는 직류전원이다.
이와 같이 구성된 본 고안은 모니터에서 파우어 세이브 모드가 아닌 정상 동작시에는 트랜지스터(TR1)의 베이스에 하이레벨의 파우어 세이브 모드 신호(S1)가 입력되지 않으므로 트랜지스터(TR1)가 오프된다.
따라서, 트랜지스터(TR2)의 베이스에 저항(R1)을 통하여 하이레벨의 전원(B+)이 입력되므로 트랜지스터(TR2)가 온되며, 이때 콘덴서(C1)에는 일정한 전압이 인가되어 제어그리드(G1) 전압에는 변화가 없게 된다.
즉, 모니터가 정상적인 동작을 할때에는 제어그리드(G1) 전압이 변하지 않아 제어그리드(G1)에서 음극선관의 캐소우드로부터 발생되는 열전자의 양을 제어하게 된다.
한편, 파우어 세이브 모드시에는 마이컴(10)으로부터 하이레벨의 파우어 세이브 모드 신호(S1)가 트랜지스터(TR1)의 베이스로 출력되어 트랜지스터(TR1)가 온되므로 트랜지스터(TR2)의 베이스에는 접지측의 로우레벨(예를들어 OV)가 인가된다.
따라서, 트랜지스터(TR2)가 오프되어 콘덴서(C1)의 (-)단자측에 부(-) 전압이 유기되므로 제어그리드(G1)에서의 전자의 양을 급속히 감소시켜 스포트가 발생하지 않게 된다.
이상에서 설명한 바와 같은 본 고안은 파우어 세이브 모드 즉, 오프모드, 서스펜드 모드, 스탠 바이 모드가 되면 자동적으로 마이컴(10)에서 제어그리드에서의 전자의 양을 급속히 감소시켜 제어그리드에 전원이 인가되지 않게 하므로 스포트의 발생을 제거할 수 있어 모니터의 신뢰성을 더욱 향상시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.

  1. 파우어 세이브 모드시 마이컴으로부터 출력되는 파우어 세이브 모드 신호에 의해 스위칭된는 제1스위칭 수단과, 상기 제1스위칭 수단의 스위칭에 따라 스위칭되는 제2스위칭 수단과, 상기 제2스위칭 수단의 출력측에 접속되어 파우어 세이브 모드시 제어그리드에 부(-) 전압을 유기시키는 콘덴서를 포함하여 구성함을 특징으로 하는 모니터의 스포트 제거회로.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1스위칭 수단과 제2스위칭 수단이 트랜지스터인 것을 특징으로 하는 모니터의 스포트 제거회로
