Abstract

1. 본 발명에 따르면, 네 개의 카메라(52,54,56,58)는 사면 피라미드형 구성 요소(40)를 사용하여 임의 영역의 360°화면을 제공한다. 이 사면 피라미드형 구성 요소(40)는 반사면으로서, 네 개의 상이한 방향으로부터의 영상을 반영한다. 각 카메라는 피라미드의 반사 면중 하나의 반사면으로부터 반사된 영상을 수신하도록 위치된다. 이들 카메라는 공통의 가상 광 중심(90)을 공유하도록 배열된다. 카메라로부터의 화소 데이타는 메모리(172)내에 저장되며, 데이타는 사용자의 입력에 근거하여 화면을 형성하기 위해 메모리로부터 선택적으로 검색된다.

Claims (9)

  1. 복수의 영상 신호를 생성하는 복수의 영상 수집 장치(52)와; 상이한 방향으로부터의 영상을 상기 복수의 영상 수집 장치(52)로 반영하기 위하여 상이한 방향으로 접하는 복수의 반사 면(42)을 구비하되, 상기 각 복수의 반사면은 상기 복수의 영상 수집 장치에 속하는 영상 수집 장치(52)로 영상을 반영하는, 피라미드형 구성요소(40)와; 상기 영상 신호를 표시하는 영상 데이타를 저장하기 위한 메모리(174)와; 사용자의 입력에 응답하여 생성된 사용자 신호에 따라 상기 메모리(172)로부터 영상 데이타를 선택적으로 검색하기 위한 제어수단을 포함하는 파노라미식 뷰잉 시스템.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 메모리(172)로부터 검색된 영상 데이타를 표시하는 영상을 디스플레이하기 위한 디스플레이를 더 포함하는 파노라마식 뷰잉 시스템.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 사용자 신호를 생성하기 위한 사용자 입력 장치(180)를 더 포함하는 파노라마식 뷰잉 시스템.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 메모리(172)로부터 검색된 영상 데이타는 제1영상 수집 장치로부터의 부분 영상과 제2영상 수집 장치로부터의 부분 영상을 표시하며, 상기 제1 및 제2영상 수집 장치는 상기 복수의 영상 수집 장치에 속하는 파노라마식 뷰잉 시스템.
  5. 복수의 영상 신호를 생성하는 복수의 영상 수집 장치(52)와; 상이한 방향으로부터의 영상을 상기 복수의 영상 수집 장치(52)로 반영하기 위하여 상이한 방향으로 접하는 복수의 반사 면(42)을 구비하되, 상기 각 복수의 반사면은 상기 복수의 영상 수집 장치에 속하는 영상 수집 장치(52)로 영상을 반영하는, 피라미드형 구성요소(40)와; 통신 망(318)을 통해 상기영상 신호를 표시하는 영상 데이타를 전달하기 위한 통신 망 인터페이스 수단을 포함하는 파노라마식 뷰잉 시스템.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 통신 망 인터페이스 수단은 모뎀(310)인 파노라마식 뷰잉 시스템.
  7. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 영상 신호를 저장하기 위한 메모리(172)와; 사용자의 입력에 응답하여 생성된 사용자 신호에 따라 상기 메모리(172)로부터의 영상 데이타를 선택적으로 검색하기 위한 제어 수단(174)을 더 포함하며, 상기 통신망 인터페이스 수단은 통신 망(318)을 통해 상기 사용자 신호를 수신하며, 상기 메모리(172)로부터 검색된 영상 데이타를 상기 통신 망(318)을 통해 전달하는 파노라마식 뷰잉 시스템.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 통신 망 인터페이스 수단은 모뎀(310)인 파노라마식 뷰잉 시스템.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 메모리(172)로부터 검색된 영상 데이타는 제1영상 수집 장치로부터의 부분 영상과 제2영상 수집 장치로부터의 부분 영상을 표시하며, 상기 제1 및 제2영상 수집 장치는 상기 복수의 영상 수집 장치에 속하는 파노라마식 뷰잉 시스템.
