본 발명은 위성통신 시스템의 지구국의 주파수 변환 장치에서 사용되는 국부 발진기에 관한 것으로, 쿠(Ku) 대역의 주파수 합성형 국부 발진기를 주파수 상향기와 주파수 하향기에서 공유하여 전체적으로 경제성을 높이고 소형 경량의 안정된 국부 발진기를 제공하기 위하여 기준 주파수에 동기된 주파수를 발생하는 기준 주파수 정제 수단(4); 상기 기준 주파수 정제 수단(4)의 출력에 동기된 주파수를 발생하여 외부의 주파수 변환기(1)로 공급하는 주파수 발생 수단(PLO) (5); 상기 주파수 발생 수단(5)의 출력을 입력받아 주파수를 체배하는 주파수 체배 수단(6); 기준 주파수를 입력받고, 상기 주파수 체배 수단(6)의 출력을 입력받아 외부의 주파수 제어 명령에 따라 주파수를 합성하여 외부로 출력하는 제1주파수 합성 수단(7); 및 기준 주파수를 입력받아 상기 주파수 제어 명령에 따라 주파수를 합성하여 외부로 출력하는 제2주파수 합성 수단(8)을 구비하여 소형, 경량 및 경제성이 있으며 안정된 성능의 높은 신뢰도를 유지하기 때문에 위성통신 지구국 시스템을 소형화하고 가격을 낮출 수 있는 효과가 있다.The present invention relates to a local oscillator used in a frequency conversion device of an earth station in a satellite communication system.
