본 발명은 자동차용 촉매담체, 용융금속용 필터, 래들용 포러스플러그 및 내화물등의 내료로 이용될 수 있는 알루미늄 티타네이트 세라믹스 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 구체적으로는 알루미나와 티타니아의 함량이 몰비로 1:1 이고, 입자크기가 3㎛이하인 알루미나와 티타니아의 혼합분말 또는 합성된 알루미늄 티타네이트 분말에 Y3A15O12조성물을 외삽으로 1∼10중량% 첨가하여 1550∼1650℃의 온도에서 0.5∼4시간 소성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 알루미늄 티타네이트 세라믹스 제조방법을 제공하는 것이다.The present invention relates to a method for producing aluminum titanate ceramics that can be used as a filler for automobile catalyst carriers, filters for molten metals, porus plugs for ladles, and refractory materials.
