Abstract
대각선 방향의 화소 성분을 리드하여 윤곽을 검출하고 윤곽으로 검출된 두 개의 화소중에서 다른 하나의 화소보다 밝은 화소는 더욱 밝은 성분의 화소로 보정하고 어두운 화소는 더욱 어둡게 보정하는 디지탈 화상의 윤곽 보정 회로가 개시되는바, 이는 한 화상분의 휘도 데이타가 기록된 메모리로부터 대각선 방향의 두 화소를 리드하기 위하여 상기 메모리에 어드레스를 발생시키는 비교 데이타 리드 제어부와, 상기 비교 데이타 리드 제어부에서 발생되는 어드레스에 저장된 대각선 방향의 두 화소 데이타를 메모리로부터 리드하여 윤곽 부분을 검출하는 윤곽 검출부와, 상기 메모리에서 리드된 대각선 방향의 두 화소가 상기 윤곽 검출부에서 윤곽의 경계면이라고 판별되면 상기 메모리에서 리드된 두 개의 화소 중 어두운 휘도 성분을 가진 화소는 더욱 어둡게 보정하고 밝은 휘도 성분을 가진 화소는 더욱 밝게 보정하여 메모리에 기록하는 윤곽 보정부로 구성되어, 불분명한 디지탈 화상의 윤곽 부분을 간단한 회로 구성과 인간의 시각 특성을 이용하여 더욱 선명하게 나타내면서, 또한, 비교하고자 하는 부분의 수직 성분과 수평 성분을 동시에 비교할 수 있게 된다.A contour correction circuit of a digital image which reads a pixel component in a diagonal direction and detects a contour, and corrects a pixel brighter than the other pixel among the two pixels detected as the contour, and corrects a dark pixel darker. A contour detector for detecting contour parts by reading two pixel data in a direction from the memory; and if two pixels in a diagonal direction read from the memory are determined as boundary planes of the contours in the contour detector, a dark one of the two pixels read from the memory is detected. Pixels with luminance components The darker and brighter pixels are composed of a contour correction unit for brighter correction and recording in memory, making the contours of an unclear digital image more vivid using a simple circuit configuration and human visual characteristics. In addition, the vertical component and the horizontal component of the portion to be compared can be compared at the same time.
