본 발명은 컬러킬러신호를 이용한 텔레비전의 전원제어방법에 관한 것으로, 채널선국입력에 따라 해당채널의 국부발진주파수를 기준으로 선택된 채널에서 동기신호의 유·무에 따라 그 최초의 국부발진주파수에 의한 선국작업의 종료 또는 동기신호의 검출시 윈도우서치작업으로 이행하여 최적의 국부발진주파수에 의한 선국작업을 행하는 컬러텔레비전에 있어서, 상기 동기신호의 검출시에 수행되는 윈도우서치 동작후에 선국된 채널에서 컬러신호의 유·무를 검출하여 어느 하나의 채널에서도 컬러킬러신호가 검출되지 않으면 무방송상태로 판단하여 전원 OFF제어를 수행하고, 상기 컬러킬러신호의 유·무 판별은 해당 텔레비전에 할당된 전체의 채널에서 어느하나의 채널에서 컬러킬러신호가 존재하면 방송신호의 지속으로 판단하여 전원의 ON 상태를 유지하도록 하는 반면, 어느 하나의 채널에서도 상기 컬러킬러신호가 검출하지 않으면 전원 OFF 제어를 수행하도록 된 것이다.The present invention relates to a power control method of a television using a color killer signal, and based on the local oscillation frequency of a corresponding channel according to a channel tuning input, according to the first local oscillation frequency with or without a synchronization signal.
