엘리베이터의 승강균형을 유지시키는 엘리베이트 중량추로는 기본적으로 주물중량추가 사용되는 것이나 이 경우는 제조공정이 복잡할 뿐만 아니라 원가도 높으므로 그의 대용품으로서 철근콘크리트제의 중량추를 사용하는 예가 있는데 이 경우는 정량의 중량을 갖도록 하기 위하여는 자연부피가 커지고 강도가 약한 문제점이 있으므로 이러한 문제점을 감안하여 주물중량추에 대응하는 중량추를 제공할 목적으로 검토한바 일정한 규격의 철판외통내에 쇳조각을 채워넣고 이들 쇳조각 사이의 공간에 비중이 큰 납물을 채워 정량의 중량을 갖는 중량추를 생산하려는 것이나 납물의 비중은 쇳소각에 비해 훨씬 크므로 철판외통내에 채워진 쇳조각이 납물이 부상되어 실현 가능성이 없으므로 본 발명인은 다각도로 검토해본 결과 쇳조각을 채운 철판외통을 자석판(전자석 및 영구자석) 위에 올려놓고, 철판외통내에 납물을 부어넣은 결과 쇳조각의 부상없이 정량의 중량추를 얻을 수 있었는바 본 발명에 의한 중량추는 폐품의 쇳조각을 재활용하므로서 원자재소비 절약에 기여하며 저렴한 가격으로 공급할 수 있고 중량추의 정확한 규격의 치수와 정량조정이 가능하며 제작이 간편하고 견고한 중량추로서의 품위를 향상시키는 여러가지 장점이 있는 것이다.As the weight of elevator that maintains the elevator balance, the weight of casting is basically used.
