Abstract

개질된 비스이미드 수지는 비스이미드 단량체와 시클릭 트리엔을 공중합시킴으로써 제조된다. 비스이미드와 1,24-트리메틸렌시클로헥산과 같은 시클릭 트리엔의 공중합은 양호한 파괴 인성을 갖는 개질된 비스이미드를 제공한다.

Claims (25)

  1. 하기로 구성되는 조성물 (a) 하기 일반식으로 나타낸 바와 같은 불포화 디카르복실산의 비스이미드:
    상기식에서 Y는 적어도 2개의 탄소 원자 및 탄소-탄소 이중결합을 함유하는 치환 또는 비치환 이가 부분이고 Z는 이가 연결기이다; (b) 하기 일반식 Ⅰ 및 Ⅱ중 하나에 따른 시클릭 트리엔;
    상기식에서 각각의 R은 독립적으로 수소 및 C1-3알킬로부터 선택되고, R'은 이가 연결기이고, m 및 n 각각은 0-6의 정수이며 m+n은 적어도 2이다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, R'은 C2-12알킬렌인 조성물.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 각각의 R은 수소 및 메틸로부터 선택되는 조성물.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, R'은 -O-R"-O이며, 이때 R"은 C2-12알킬렌 및 페닐렌으로부터 선택되는 조성물.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 시클릭 트리엔은 1,2,4-트리메틸렌시클로헥산인 조성물.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 시클릭트리엔 대 비스이미드의 몰비가 약 0.2-1.0：1인 조성물.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 시클릭 트리엔이 1,2,4-트리메틸렌시클로헥산인 조성물.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 비스이미드가 N,N'-4,4'-디페닐메탄 비스말레이미드로 구성되는 조성물.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 비스이미드가 몰당 약 0.0002-약 0.2몰의 자유 라디칼 중합 저해제를 포함하는 조성물.
  10. 제8항에 있어서, 비스이미드가 몰당 약 0.0002-약 0.2몰의 페노티아진을 포함하는 조성물.
  11. 제8항에 있어서, 1,2,4-트리메틸렌시클로헥산 대 비스이미드의 몰비가 약 0.4-0.9：1인 조성물.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 섬유상 강화재를 포함하는 조성물.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 섬유상 강화재가 탄소 섬유로 구성되는 조성물.
  14. 제12항에 있어서, 섬유상 강화재가 유리 섬유로 구성되는 조성물.
  15. 제1항에 따른, 경화된 조성물로 구성되는 제조 제품.
  16. 제12항에 따른, 경화된 조성물로 구성되는 제조 제품.
  17. 제14항의 조성물로 구성되는 전기 적층물.
  18. 제1항의 조성물을 적어도 약 150℃의 온도에서 적어도 약 2시간 동안 가열시킴으로써 제조된 비스이미드 공중합체.
  19. 제7항의 조성물을 적어도 약 150℃의 온도에서 적어도 약 2시간 동안 가열시킴으로써 제조된 비스이미드 공중합체.
  20. 제10항의 조성물을 적어도 약 170-약 350℃의 온도에서 적어도 약 2시간의 시간동안 가열시킴으로써 제조된 비스이미드 공중합체.
  21. 하기 일반식으로 나타낼 수 있는 불포화 디카르복실산의 경화된 비스이미드의 파괴 인성을 증가시키는 방법으로서;
    (상기식에서 Y는 적어도 2개의 탄소 원자 및 탄소-탄소 이중결합을 함유하는 치환 또는 비치환 이가기이고 Z는 이가 연결기임)
    (a) 비경화 형태의 비스이미드와 비스이미드 몰당 약 0.2-약 1.0몰의 C6-20시클릭 트리엔을 블렌딩시키고 (b) 결과 블랜드를 약 170-약 350℃ 온도로 적어도 약 2시간의 시간동안 가열시키는 것으로 구성되는 방법.
  22. 제21항에 있어서, 트리엔이 1,2,4-트리메틸렌시클로헥산인 방법.
  23. 제21항에 있어서, 비스이미드와 비스이미드 몰당 약 0.0002-약 0.02몰의 자유 라디칼 중합 저해제를 블렌딩시키는 것을 포함하는 방법.
  24. 제22항에 있어서, 1,2,4-트리메틸렌 시클로헥산이 비스이미드 몰당 약 0.4-약 0.8몰의 양으로 블렌드내에 존재하는 방법.
  25. 제21항에 있어서, 비스이미드가 N,N'-4,4'-디페닐메탄 비스말레이미드로 구성되는 방법.
