비월주사방식의 영상신호를 순차주사방식의 영상신호로 변환하는 디지탈 영상처리장치에 관한 것으로, 경사상관보간과 윤곽보정을 연속하여 실행시 발생되는 영상신호의 왜곡현상이 발생되지 않도록 순차주사 변환용 영상신호 처리장치를 제공한다. 상기의 순차주사 변환용 영상신호 처리장치는 디지탈 비월주사된 휘도신호(Y)가 입력시에를 경사상관보간 및 수직윤곽을 동시에 처리하여 경사상관보간된 휘도신도(YINT) 및 비월주사시 스캔닝될 리얼휘도신호(YR)를 동시에 출력하는 경사상보간 및 수직윤곽처리수단과, 상기 경사상관보간된 휘도신호(YINT) 및 비월주사시 스캔닝될 리얼휘도신호(YR)를 시간 압축 및 멀티플렉싱하여 실질적으로 순차 주사화된 순차주사 휘도신호를 발생하는 압축수단을 포함하여 구성된다.A digital image processing apparatus for converting interlaced video signals into sequential scanning video signals, and is used for sequential scanning conversion so as not to cause distortion of video signals generated when continuous interpolation and contour correction are performed continuously.
