Abstract
소프트 핸드오프가 행해지는 동안 고도로 정밀한 송신 전력 제어를 하므로써 송신 전력을 감소시켜 가입자수에 의한 용량의 증가가 가능해지는 CDMA에서 송신 전력 제어 방법이다. 이동국은 이전 기지국으로부터의 송신 전력 제어 비트와 새로운 기지국으로부터의 송신 전력 제어 비트를 비교하고 이동국의 송신 전력중 낮은 송신 전력을 나타내는 송신 전력제어 비트를 선택함으로써 이동국의 송신 전력을 결정한다. 이동국은 이전기지국으로부터의 수신 SIR과 새로운 기지국으로부터의 수신 SIR을 비교하여 더 큰 수신 SIR을 결정함으로써 기지국을 위한 송신 전력 제어 비트를 결정한다. 이 방법은 송신 전력을 감소시키고 가입자 수에 의하여 용량을 증가시킬 수 있다.It is a transmission power control method in CDMA in which the transmission power is reduced and the capacity can be increased by the number of subscribers by performing highly precise transmission power control during soft handoff. This method can reduce transmission power and increase capacity by the number of subscribers.
