본 발명은 광 디스크플레이어에서 서보제어에 이용되는 포커스 에러신호와 트랙킹에러신호의 오프셋을 자동으로 조정하는 기술에 관한 것으로, 종래의 오프셋 조정장치에 있어서는 포커스에러와 트랙킹에러의 오프셋 조정을 위해 가변저항으로 사용하게 되는데, 이 가변저항과 연산증폭기등의 부품은 사용시간에 따라 그 특성이 변화되므로 재조정을 해야되는 번거로움이 따르고, 제품 생산단계에서 가변저항값을 조정해야하는 번거로움이 있어 생산성의 저하를 초래하게 되는 결함으로 대두되었는 바, 본 발명은 이를 해결하기 위하여 래치(20),(24)를 통하여 트랙킹에러(TE)의 최대값(EMAX)과 최소값(EMIN)을 찾아낸 후 가산기(26)와 제산기(27)를 통하여 평균값을 구하고, 감산기(28)를 통해 그 평균값과 기준전압 즉, 기준데이타(REF-DATA)의 차값을 구하게 되는데, 이 차값이 바로 트랙킹오프셋값이 되며, 입력되는 트랙킹에러신호 즉, A/D변환기(12)에서 출력되는 트랙킹에러신호에서 상기 감산기(28)의 출력값을 감산하여 이를 래치(30) 및 D/A변환기(31)를 통해 출력하게 한 것이다.The present invention relates to a technique for automatically adjusting the offset of a focus error signal and a tracking error signal used for servo control in an optical disc player.
