이 발명은 비데오 카드로부터 입력되는 수평/수직동기 및 동기 주파수의 극성을 검출하여 비데오 모드를 판별하고, 판별된 비데오 모드에 따라 마이크로 프로세서의 소정 포트에 연결된 외부 저하값을 가변시킴으로써 모니터의 화면상태를 제어하는 전압값을 출ㄹ력하는 모니터 모드 제어회로 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다.The present invention determines the video mode by detecting the polarity of the horizontal / vertical synchronization and synchronization frequency input from the video card, and adjusts the screen state of the monitor by varying the external degradation value connected to a predetermined port of the microprocessor according to the determined video mode.
