Abstract

본 발명은 칼라 액정 뷰파인더를 채용한 캠코더(Camcoder)에 있어서, 촬영중 일정시간 이상 녹화 대기 상태를 유지할 경우 칼라 액정 뷰파인더를 오프시켜 밧데리 소비전력을 절감시키도록 하는 캠코더의 소비전력 절감장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로 기존 캠코더의 뷰파인더에서 소비하는 전력을 감소시켜 밧데리의 사용시간을 늘려주는것이다. 이를 위하여 뷰파인더(100)의 전면 일측에 거리 측정 센서(110)를 부착하고 상기 거리 측정 센서(110)의 물체 감지 여부를 마이콤(200)에 감지하여 일정신간이상 뷰파인더(100)에 눈을 접근시키지 않으면 전원 공급 장치(400)에 뷰파인더(100)로 공급되는 전원을 차단시키도록 하므로써 뷰파인더에서 소모되는 전력의 낭비를 줄일수 있다.The present invention provides a camcorder that employs a color liquid crystal viewfinder, wherein when the recording standby state is maintained for a predetermined time or more during recording, the device for reducing power consumption of the camcorder to reduce the power consumption of the battery by turning off the color liquid crystal viewfinder; The method is to reduce the power consumed by the viewfinder of existing camcorders, thus increasing the battery life.
