Abstract

The reduction furnace produces uniform reduced iron irrespective of the size of iron ore and improves the rate of gas usage by double reduction processes using reducing waste gases. The reduction furnace system comprises (A) the first reduction furnace(10) to reduce iron ore powder from hopper(70) with waste gas from the second cyclone(60); (B) the second reduction furnace(20) to form vapor fluidized layer; (C) the third reduction furnace(30) to reduce fine iron ore power; (D) inner cyclone(50) and the second cyclone(60) to collect the iron ore powder to circulate it.
