Abstract
본 발명은 자외선을 이용하는 광학장치용 광원에 적합한 쇼트아크형 카드뮴 방전램프에 관한 것으로써, 발광관내에 근접해서 배치된 한쌍의 전극과, 카드뮴과, 회가스와, 할로겐을 봉입하여 방전에 의해 카드뮴 이온으로부터 광을 방사하는 쇼트아크형 카드뮴 방전램프에있어서, 할로겐의 봉입량이 2원자 분자로 환산하여 발광관내 용적당 4.5×10-10㏖/㎤에서 2.1×10-7㏖/㎤의 범위에 있는 것을 특징으로 하며, 이와 같이 구성된 쇼트아크형 카드뮴 방전램프는 수명이 길고, 방사파장이 200nm∼250nm에 걸친 자외선의 광속유지율이 긴 램프를 얻을 수 있으며, 램프전압의 안정화, 발광효율의 향상, 자외선을 고출력화 할 수 있다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
