본 고안은 메인렌즈를 형성하는 전극의 형상이 개선된 칼라음극선관용 전자총에 관한 것이다. 본 고안은 전자를 방출하는 캐소오드의 전방으로 각각 다수의 전자빔 통과공이 형성된 제어전극, 스크린전극, 포커스 전극, 그리고 최종 가속전극이 차례로 배열되는 칼라음극선관용 전자총에 있어서, 메인렌즈(B)를 형성하는 포커스 전극의 전자빔 출사면(51)과 최종 가속전극의 전자빔 입사면(71)을 각각 오목하게 형성하여 메인렌즈를 형성하는 전위선과 유사한 형상으로 형성되도록 한 것이다. 본 고안에 의한 칼라 음극선관용 전자총은 대구경을 형성하기 위한 다수의 전극이 요구되지 않으며 포커스 및 컨버젼스 특성이 향상되고 고해상도를 실현할 수 있다.The present invention relates to an electron gun for a color cathode ray tube with an improved shape of an electrode forming a main lens.
