본 발명은 전자빔의 방출원인 삼극부와, 이 삼극부와 등축상에 설치되어 삼극부로부터 방출된 전자빔을 집속및 가속시키는 프리포커스 렌즈부와 주렌즈부를 구비하여 된 칼라 음극선관용 전자총에 관한 것으로, 상기 프리포커스 렌즈부가 서로 다른 두개의 포커스전압이 선택적으로 인가되어 수평방향 전자렌즈의 세기가 수직방향 전자렌즈의 세기보다 약한 적어도 하나의 사중극렌즈를 형성하는 복수개의 포커스전극을 구비하여 된 것에 특징이 있으며 이에 주렌즈로 입사되는 전자빔의 구면수차 영향을 줄일수 있는 이점을 가진다.The present invention relates to an electron gun for a color cathode ray tube, comprising a three-pole portion that is an emission source of an electron beam, a prefocus lens portion and a main lens portion that are arranged on the same axis with the three-pole portion and focus and accelerate the electron beam emitted from the three-pole portion. This has the advantage of reducing the effect of spherical aberration of the electron beam incident on the main lens.
