The detector is designed to diagnose the overcurrent and the short condition for the circuit breaker. The detector comprises; the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th current transducers(CT1-CT4) outputting current according to the turn ratio; a rectifying unit to convert the sensed current to the dc value; a control voltage unit outputting the cut off signal for power supply; 1st, 2nd, 3rd amplifiers to amplify the output of 1st, 2nd, 3rd rectifier; 1st, 2nd, 3rd multiplexing units according to the microprocessor selection signal; an A/D converter digitizing the input/output signal.
