Abstract
전기로 작동하는 열응답 밸브가 바이메탈 아암을 갖되, 이아암은 밸브 유출구로의 유동을 제어하기 위해 탄성포핏이 시이트상에서 개방 및 폐쇄 위치 사이에서 이동하는 편향을 제공하도록 전기저항 가열코일에 의의해 가열된다. 바이메탈 아암의 기층부(활성부)는 밸브 작동을 위해 700℉가지는 선형 편향 특성을 갖는 제1바이메탈 재료로 구성된다. 바이메탈 아암의 선외부(보상부)는 온도보상을 위해 300℉까지는 선형편향 특성을 가지나, 활성부로부터 열전달에 따른 선외부의 가열로 부터 오는 과보상을 최소화하기 위해 300℉-700℉의 온도범위내에서는 매우 낮은 편향 특성을 갖는 제2의 바이메탈 재료로 구성된다.

Claims (2)
- 주변온도에서의 온도보상장치를 갖는 열응답 밸브 조립체에 있어서, 밸브 쳄버, 밸브 쳄버로의 유입구, 유출구 및 유출구와 연관된 밸브 시이트를 포함하는 하우징 수단, 유출구를 폐쇄하도록 밸브 시이트와 밀착하는 위치와 유출구를 개방하도록 밸브 시이트로 부터 이격된 위치 사이에서 이동하는 포핏을 포함하는 밸브수단 및 상기 개방과 폐쇄위치 사이를 이동하도록 통전하는 밸브수단을 가열하는 가열수단을 포함하되 밸브수단은 일달부를 하우징 수단에 고정시키고 하측상단부에 포핏을 착설시키며 0℉-300℉의 작동 온도범위(주변온도)에서는 온도대 편향관계가 일정하나 300℉이상의 온도에서는 온도대 편향관계가 일정하지 않은 제1바이메탈 재료로 구성된 선외부를 갖는 아암 부재를 포함하며, 아암 부배는 선외부와 아암의 고정된 단부 사이의 중간에 활성부(기층부)를 포함하며, 활성부는 0℉-300℉의 온도에서 온도대 편향관계가 일정한 제2의 바이메탈로 구성되는 열응답 밸브 조립체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1바이메탈 재료의 온도대 편향 곡선이 0℉-300℉의 온도범위내에서 선형인 열응답 밸브 조립체.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
