본 발며은 비데오 카메라의 자동 화이트 밸런스(white balance) 조절에 관한 것으로, 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 화이트 밸런스 회로는 화면 전체를 1필드동안 적분한 IR.IG.IB데이타를 이용하여, IR/IG, IB/IG를 구하여 그 값들이 미리 설정한 화이트 영역내에 있는가로서 화이트 밸런스의 수행여부를 판단하므로 중간색조가 두드러진 화면의 전체를 1필드 적분하여 위의 과정을 거치면서 화이트 밸런스를 수행하게 되고 색밸런스가 안맞는 경우가 발생하고 서로 보색관계에 있는 색의 조합에서는 화이트 밸런스가 틀어지는 현상이 발생하게 된다.This article relates to the automatic white balance adjustment of a video camera.
