Abstract
본 발명은 베이스 밴드 신호를 이용하여 고주파 변조성분을 제거한 전력증폭기의 피드백 선형화 회로에 관한 것으로, 전력증폭기 선형화(Power Amplifier Linearization)는 전력증폭기가 보다 높은 출력전력에서 동작할 수 있도록 하는 효과적인 방법으로, 선형화가 없다면 상호 변조잡음(Intermodulation Noise), 주파수 확산(Spectrum Spreading), 비트 에러 레이트(Bit Error Rate)등과 같은, 시스템 규정조건을 맞추려면 전력증폭기를 백-오프(backed-off)모드에서 동작시킬 필요가 있다. 여기서 백-오프 모드란 증폭기의 동작점을 포화출력 전력보다 낮은점에서 동작시키는 것으로 , 둘 이상의 반송파를 동시에 증폭하는 경우 증폭기의 비선형 외곡(non linear distortion)에 의한 상호 변조성분을 줄이기 위한 방법이다. 그러나 선형화가 이루어진다면 동작(operating) 출력전력에 있어 전력증폭기 출력이 5-6[dB]증가하게 된다. 이외에도 선형화에 의해 파워효율(power efficency)이 매우 좋아지므로 800[MHz] 대역의 디지탈 셀룰라나 1.8[GHz] 대역의 개인 통신망 (Personal Communication Network)과 같은 디지탈시스템에서는 전력증폭기의 선형화가 매우 중요한 설계 파라메터(parameter)로 된다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
