Abstract

본 발명은 나트륨의 효율적 이용과 용기의 내구성을 향상시키기 위한 나트륨유황전지의 전해질수용구조에 관한 것으로, β-알루미나 또는 β″-알루미나 재질로 4각상자형상의 고체전해질벽체(1)에 외벽(a)과 칸막이벽(1b,1c)에 의해 다수개의 전해질수용부가 구획지워지면서 이 각 전해질수용부내에, 바닥중앙에 관통구멍(8a)이 형성된 나트륨수용용기(8)가 상기 외벽(1a) 및 칸막이벽(1b,1c)과 소정간격을 두고 한칸 건너 하나씩 설치되고, 이 나트륨수용용기내(8)에는 나트륨(2)용액이 담겨지면서 이들 사이의 각 전해질수용부에는 유황(3)이 충진되며, 또 상기 고체전해질벽체(1)가 외부단자(11a,11b)를 갖춘 외부용기(4)내에서 상부가 상기 각 전해질 수용부내로 삽입되도록 전극봉(9)이 관통해서 끼워진 α-알루미나재질의 상부절연체(7)로 밀봉됨과 더불어 하부와 측면은 α-알루미나 또는 유리재질로 된 하부절연체(5)와 측면덮개(6)로 밀봉되고, 상기 상부절연체(5)상면에 돌출형성된 전극(9a,9c)은 6개씩 1조로 구리 또는 알루미늄재질의 연결부재(12)로 각각 직렬연결된 나트륨유황전지의 전해질수용구조.

제1도는 본 발명에 따라 상자형태로 성형된 고체전해질벽체에 나트륨과 유황이 충진된 상태의 사시도. 제2도는 본 발명 전해질수용구조에 따라 전해질이 수용된 나트륨유황전지의 단면도. 제3도는 제2도의 고체전해질벽체에 전극을 설치하여 연결시킨 상태도.

Claims (1)

  1. β-알루미나 또는 β˝-알루미나 재질로 4각상자형상의 고체전해질벽체(1)에 외벽(1a)과 칸막이벽(1b,1c)에 의해 다수개의 전해질수용부가 구획지워지면서 이 각 나트륨수용용기(8)가 상기 외벽(1a) 및 칸막이벽(1b,1c)과 소정간격을 두고 한칸 건너 하나씩 설치되고, 이 나트륨수용용기내(8)에는 나트륨(2)용액이 담겨지면서 이들 사이의 각 전해질수용부에는 유황(3)이 충진되며, 또 상기 고체전해질벽체 (1)가 외부단자(11a,11b)를 갖춘 외부용기(4)내에서 상부가 상기 각 전해질 수용부내로 삽입되도록 전극봉(9)이 관통해서 끼워진 α-알루미나재질의 상부절연체(7)로 밀봉됨과 더불어 하부와 측면은 α-알루미나 또는 유리재질로 된 하부절연체(5)와 측면덮개(6)로 밀봉되고, 상기 상부절연체(5)상면에 돌출형성된 전극(9a,9c)은 6개씩 1조로 구리 또는 알루미늄재질의 연결부재(12)로 각각 직렬연결된 나트륨유황전지의 전해질수용구조.
