Abstract

본 발명은 고선명텔레비젼(High Definition TeleVision 이하 HDTV라 칭함) 및 기타 디지탈 오디오 압축기기등에 심리음향모델에 관한 것으로, 특히 인간의 청각특성에 근거한 심리음향모델에 사용자의 개별취향 및 오디오 장르등에 따른 주파수 대역 특성을 보상한 사용자 기호 보상형 심리음향 모델에 관한 것이다. 종래의 심리음향모델에서 가용된 청각특성 적용기의 인간청각특성은 개별특성이 아니고 많은 실험치를 모델링한 평균특성이 적용되는 것이므로, 사용자의 기호에 따른 개별적인 청각특성 및 오디오신호의 음악장르등의 개별특성에 대해서는 적절히 대응하지 못하는 단점이 있다. 본 발명은 이와같은 종래의 문제점을 감단하여, 사용자의 취향에 맞는 향상된 음질을 얻을 수 있도록 함을 특징으로 한다. 즉, 종래의 뮤지캠에서 사용되는 심리음향모델로 서브밴드분석결과의 양자화율을 결정하는데 있어서 사용자의 개별적인 취향 및, 오디오신호의 음악장르등의 개별 특성등을 추가함으로서, 보다 사용자의 기호에 맞는 음성신호의 코딩이 가능하도록 한 것이다.

제3도는 본 발명 사용자 기호 보상형 심리음향 모델의 구성도이다.

Claims (3)

  1. 서브밴드분석필터(10)로 부터 입력되는 입력신호(a)에 대하여 32개의 대역의 주파수대역성분에서 단위 프레임에서의 최대치(c)를 각각 검출하는 최대치검출기(21)와; 오디오 원신호 입력(ㄱ)인 입력신호(b)로 부터 예를들어 고속푸리에변환등의 방법으로 주파수성분(d)을 구하는 주파수분석기(22)와; 여러가지 형태의 오디오 전주파수대역의 주파수분포특성을 기록하는 메모리로서, 사용자 기호 선택입력(g)에 따라 사용자의 취향에 따른 주파수분포 변형 계수(h)를 출력하는 사용자 기호적용기(25)와; 주파수성분(d)과 주파수분포변형 계수(h)를 곱하여 입력 오디오 신호를 사용자의 취향에 맞도록 주파수성분(i)을 출력하는 주파수분포 변형기(26)와; 상기(c), (i)의 신호에 대하여 인간의 청각특성에 근거한 분석일 실시하여 32개의 주파수대역에 대하여 입력 오디오신호(b)에 의하여 들을 수 없게되는 에너지 즉, 허용가능한 노이즈량(e)을 계산하는 청각특성 적용기(23)와; 32개의 주파수대역에 대하여 각각 허용 노이즈량(e)과 비트 할당에 의한 양자화 노이즈를 비교하여 양자화 노이즈가 들리지않도록 전송채널의 데이터전송을 등에 의하여 제한되는 최대의 비트수 한도이내에서 32개의 주파수 대역에 비트를 할당하는 비트할당기(24)로 구성함을 특징으로 하는 사용자 기호 보상형 심리음향모델.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 사용자 기호 적용기(25)의 내용은 가변이 가능한 것을 특징으로 하는 사용자 기호 보상형 심리음향모델.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 주파수 분포 변형기(26)는 주파수 성분(d)과 주파수 분포변형 계수(h)를 곱하여 사용자의 취향에 맞도록 변형된 주파수 성분(i)을 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 사용자 기호 보상형 심리 음향모델.
