본 발명은 패닝을 판단하여 자동 촛점 제어를 정확하게 수행할 수 있는 비디오 카메라의 자동 촛점 제어장치에 관한 것으로 CCD(2)와, 샘플 앤 홀드 및 AGC부(3)와, 이 출력을 받아 신호를 처리하는 신호처리부(4)와, 이의 출력에서 노이즈를 제거하기 위해 필터링하는 필터(6)로 된 것에 있어서, 필터(6)의 일부신호를 비교기(11)에 입력시켜 기준레벨보다 높은 신호 부분에서 펄수가 발생하게 하고, 펄스의 라이징 에지 부분을 검출하여 카운터(12)에서 계속하며, 계수된 값을 제1, 제2 레치(13)(14)에서 1필드분씩 딜레이시켜 전 필드분 카운터와 현 필드분의 카운터수를 비교하여 그 차이분의 절대치를 취한 후 일정 임게치 이상인가 이하인가에 따라 해당 레벨을 발생시켜 화면 전체의 변동을 판별하도록 한 것이다.The present invention relates to an automatic focus control apparatus of a video camera capable of accurately performing automatic focus control by judging panning.
