Abstract

제어가능한 구성 관리 (CFM) 상태 기계 사용자 인터페이스는 파이버 분배형 데이타 인터페이스(FDD1) 프로코콜에 따라 실질적으로 동작할 수 있는 데이타 전송 네트웍내로 삽입될 수 있는 스테이션이나 집중장치를 몰리층 제어기에 사용하기 위해 개시되어 있다. 본 발명의 한 실시 태양에서는, 물리층 제어기는 공백 구성 레지스터, 조인(join) 구성 레지스터 및 루프 구성 레지스터를 포함한다. 공백 구성 레지스터 CFM 상태 기계가 공백 구성에 있을때 물리층 제어기의 바람직한 구성을 나타내는 정보를 기억할 수 있다. 마찬가지로, 조인 및 루프 구성 레지스터는, CFM 상태 기계가 각각 조인 및 루프 구성에 있을때 바람직한 구성을 나타내는 정보를 기억할 수 있다.

Claims (1)

  1. 파이버 분배형 데이타 인터페이스(FDD1) 프로토콜에 따라 실질적으로 동작할 수 있는 데이타 전송 네트웍내로 삽입될 수 있는 스테이션을 구성하는 물리층으로서, 구성관리(CFM) 상태 기계를 포함하며 상기 FDD1 프로토콜에 따라 실질적으로 물리층 제어기를 구성할 수 있는 물리층을 제어하는 물리층 제어기에 있어서, CFM 상태 기계가 공백 구성에 있을때 물리층 제어기의 바람직한 구성을 나타내는 정보를 기억할 수 있는 공백 구성 레지스터, CFM 상태 기계가 조인(join) 구성에 있을때 바람직한 구성을 나타내는 정보를 기억할 수 있는 조인 구성 레지스터 및 CFM 상태 기계가 루프구성에 있을때 바람직한 구성을 나타내는 정보를 기억할 수 있는 루프 구성 레지스터를 포함하는 복수개의 레지스터를 부가적으로 포함하는 물리층 제어기.
