Abstract

액정 표시 소자는, 폴리머에 액정이 분산되어 있는 산란형광제어층과, 상기 광제어 층의 전후에 액정의 여기를 위한 전극을 구비하며, 광제어층의 전방과 후방에는 입사광의 편광을 제어하는 편광소자와, 입사광을 반사하는 반사막이 각각 마련되다. 상기 반사막과 이에 인접한 투명전극의 사이에는 편광의 위상차를 보상하는 위상차 보상막이 마련된 점에 그 특징이 있다.The liquid crystal display device includes a scattering fluorescence control layer in which liquid crystal is dispersed in a polymer, an electrode for excitation of liquid crystals before and after the light control layer, and polarization for controlling polarization of incident light in front and rear of the light control layer. The element and the reflecting film which reflect incident light are provided, respectively. A feature of the present invention is that a phase difference compensation film is provided between the reflective film and the transparent electrode adjacent thereto to compensate for the phase difference of polarization.
