Abstract
실 제작과정에서 열가소성 또는 열경화성 고분자 분말입자에 피랄멘트사를 침지하는 방법을 발표한다. 이 방법은 필라멘트사를 형성하고, 필라멘트를 분리하고 분말입자가 들어있는 수성슬러리에 필라멘트를 침지하고 다시 필라멘트를 건조하여 물을 제거하고 분말입자에 침지된 실을 만드는 단계를 포함한다. 분말입자는 침지사중량을 기초로 약5 내지 50중량%의 양으로 필라멘트사에 존재한다. 본 발명에 따른 슬러리로 피복한 유리섬유는 열가소성 분말로 침지하기에 적합하다.A method of immersing pyralment yarn in thermoplastic or thermosetting polymer powder particles during a yarn fabrication process is presented. The method includes forming filament yarns, separating the filaments, immersing the filaments in an aqueous slurry containing powder particles, and drying the filaments again to remove water and make a yarn immersed in powder particles. The powder particles are present in the filament yarn in an amount of about 5 to 50% by weight based on the weight of the immersed yarn. Glass fibers coated with the slurry according to the invention are suitable for immersion into thermoplastic powders.
