본 발명은 녹색발광 형광체 및 이를 사용한 음극선관에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서는 일반식 Y2-x-y Scx Mny·SiO5(y/8≤x≤y/5, 0.28≤y≤0.46)으로 표시되는 신규한 녹색발광 형광체와 상기 형광체를 갖는 음극선관을 제공하는데 본 발명의 녹색발광 형광체는 특히 고전류 밀도하에서 색순도와 휘도가 높아 투사관용 TV, HD-TV등에 적합하게 채용될 수 있다.The present invention relates to a green light emitting phosphor and a cathode ray tube using the same.
