Abstract
[목적] 차량용 촉매 콘버터에의 2차 공기 공급에 적합한 압력-유량 특성을 가지며, 수명이 길고, 모터를 고효율화할 수 있는 전동 펌프를 제공한다.[Objective] An electric pump having a pressure-flow characteristic suitable for supplying secondary air to a catalyst converter for a vehicle, having a long service life and capable of high efficiency of the motor is provided.
[구성]와류신 펌프(1)를 사용함으로써, 공급 공기의 압력 변화에 대한 유량의 변화가 적어진다. 이 특성으로부터 촉매 콘버터에, 촉매의 온도를 저하시키지 않을 정도의 적당한 유량과 충분한 압력으로 2차 공기를 공급하도록, 공급 공기의 압력과 유량을 용이하게 콘트롤할 수 있게 된다. 더욱이 그 공급 공기의 압력을 유량을 적당하게 유지한 상태에서 광범위하게 바꿀 수도 있게 된다. 또한 와류식 펌프는 임펠러의 회전수가 낮기 때문에, 그만큼 전동 펌프의 수명을 연장시킬 수가 있다. 다시 공기의 흡입구(10)를 모터(3)측에 설치하여 그 모터(3)내부에 공기 유로(11)를 형성함으로써, 모터를 자동적으로 냉각하여 그 효율을 높일 수 있다.[Configuration] By using the vortex flow pump 1, the change of the flow rate with respect to the pressure change of supply air becomes small. The air inlet 10 is provided on the motor 3 side again, and the air flow path 11 is formed inside the motor 3, whereby the motor can be automatically cooled to increase its efficiency.
