Abstract

Claims (2)

  1. 지르코늄 합금 클래딩 튜브내에 함유된 분열성 물질을 포함하는 원자로내에서 사용하기 위한 연료 소자에 있어서, 지르코늄 합금 클래딩 튜브의 내면상에 가연성 독 코팅을 포함하며, 상기 코팅은 졸-겔 용액으로부터 침착된 붕소 또는 탄화 붕소 입자를 포함하는 유치 또는 붕소 함유 유리 화합물로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 원자로내에서 사용하기 위한 연료 소자.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코팅의 붕소 함유 화합물 및 입자는 원자로내의 사용에 바람직한 핵 독 레벨을 제공하기 위해 붕소-10 동위 원소가 농후하게 된 붕소를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 원자로내에서 사용하기 위한 연료 소자.
