일반적으로 각종 기계유, 공업용 폐유등으로 신체 피부가 오염되어 있을 경우에 휘발유, 신너, 벤졸같은 인화성물질을 사용하여 이를 용해시킨 후 다시 알칼리성 유지(세제)로 세척하는 것이 통상적인 사용례인데, 이러한 경우 인화성물질을 사용함으로 인한 발화의 위험성과 피부막의 건조파열을 조장함에 따른 부작용을 초래할 뿐만 아니라, 세척력이 완전하지 못하고, 또한 설령 세척이 되었다 하더라도 물과 기름이 별개의 층으로 분리되어 부유층을 생성시키게 되고, 또한 이 부유층은 타물체에 강력한 부착현상을 일으킴으로 해서 세척용기 주변에 항상 상기한 부유층이 부착됨으로 인하여 피부세척후 또 다시 세척 용기까지도 세척하여야 하는 등의 결함이 있었다.In general, when body skin is contaminated with various machine oils, industrial waste oils, etc., it is a common use case to dissolve it using flammable substances such as gasoline, thinner and benzol, and then wash it with alkaline oil (detergent).
